LEWIS CARROLL’S ORIGINAL ‘ALICE’ MANUSCRIPT

Alice’s Adventures Under Ground by Lewis Carroll (mathematician and pioneer photographer Charles Dodgson) is one of the most famous of all the British Library’s literary manuscripts. It is Lewis Carroll’s hand-written and illustrated version of the work later published as Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland (1865). You can now turn the pages online and view the entire manuscript in close-up, or buy a CD-ROM from our Online Bookshop.
